Washington, Nov. 5 (chinadaily) -- the U.S. department of commerce (doc) issued a preliminary countervailing order against China's staple products. The countervailing duty rate of zhejiang best nail industry co., ltd. was 12.38%. Two other companies, ningbo deli stationery co., ltd. and hai shengxin group co., LTD., which were selected as compulsory responding enterprises, did not participate in the response and were fined 156.99%. The countervailing duty rate for other Chinese companies was 12.38%.
According to the us statistics, in 2018, China exported about 88.75 million us dollars worth of the products involved to the us. According to the investigation procedures of the us side, the us department of commerce will make a final ruling on this case on March 17, 2020.
